Meet Matilda, a female Cairn Terrier Mix who is 4 years, 6 months of age (estimate). Matilda was found as a stray dog and brought to a rural animal shelter, along with her sister, Mollie, also at our rescue. They waited for a week but their owner never came forward to claim them. We were asked to take them into rescue and we gladly said yes. Matilda is a friendly dog who is smart, affectionate and very grateful for anything that you do for her. Matilda was taken to Kathys Grooming for a much needed bath, trim and groom. She loved it! Matilda looks like a million bucks and she walks taller and seems prouder now that she is cleaned up. Matilda is up to date on all of her shots and has a Home Again Microchip. Matilda is heartworm negative, a great thing. Matilda is scheduled to be spayed on August 27. She will have her teeth professionally cleaned at the same time. Matilda is crate trained. We are teaching her to walk on a leash. She rides well in the car and with time, she is going to get more comfortable. At this moment, she is a lot like Christopher Columbus when he discovered America she is seeing everything for the first time but she really, really likes it. Matilda will make an outstanding family companion she weighs about 20 lbs and is full grown. She has a thick wiry coat with a soft undercoat. She appears to be a low to no shedding dog. Matildas adoption fee is $450. There is an additional charge of $10.99 to register Matildas microchip into her new owner's name for life. Don't live near us?
